| I. OPERATING PRINCIPLES, APPLICATIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFETY USE

Brushing is a one kind mechanical working on metallic and non-metallic surfaces.
Considering tool (brush) motion type, one distinguishes brushing (by machine) using a rotary brush or brushing (manual usually) in to-and from motion.
Brushing use is extensive, starting simple operations of surface cleaning to manufacturing brushes of special properties and appropriation.
The SZCZOTPOL Enterprise bushes are use for:
- removing surface impurities,
- removing coverings and coating (electrolytic, varnish and other useless and damaging ones),
- removing top layer of naturally occurring, i.e. absorptive, oxide (rust) and adhesive ones,
- manufacturing suitable topography surfaces,
- manufacturing surfaces and top layers of determined physical mechanical features.
From technological point of view, mechanical working by brushing is used as:
- surfacing previous to a process of applying protective coating and special ones of electromechanical properties,
- surfacing previous to joining processes, e.g., soldering and welding,
- finishing which removes unwanted effects of previous process such as scale, flashes, welding impurities, etc.

The brush life depends on brush pressure and rotational speed. It is necessary to avoid excessive brush pressure against the work piece because it results in fast wear. The Szczotpol guarantees super quality and long life of its products. All Szczotpol power brushes are subjected to centrifugal force test and, like other rotating tools, demand that certain operating precautions be observed to assure operator and work area safety. All persons in the work area must wear safety goggles or respirator and protective clothing. Before operation check the brushes for possible failure.
